                A library is a collection of sources of information and similar resources, made accessible to a defined community for reference or borrowing. The college is a ‘Golden Treasury’ in the form of a rich library with almost 41,322 Books, 67 national & International Journals and a number of Magazines & Newspapers. Reference Book 1120The college library is a centre of attraction not only for the research scholars but also for the teachers and the students. The newly built huge reading room attached to the library is an added advantage with a display of periodicals, newspapers and Magazines to the teachers and students of this institution. The Library is kept open on all working days from10:30 AM to 5:30PM
 

Goals and Objectives

 

  • Provide current library materials and databases that support the academic curriculum
  • Provide access to information resources, regardless of location
  • Educate and assist college, students and staff in the identification and effective use of information resources
  • Work closely with users; know their needs and interests
  • Put into practice the motto that building library resources is a continuous process
  • Enhance information literacy, especially in the student community, by developing effective plans aiming at improving student ability to:
    • Access information effectively and efficiently
    • Evaluate information and its sources critically
    • Understand economic, legal and social issues when using information
    • Access and use information critically and legally
